The first trailer with in-game footage of Battlefield 3 has arrived.

EA and Dice have released a trailer with first in-game scenes of Battlefield 3. Although the trailer is only 43 seconds long, you see a lot. A big fan of the Battlefield series has examined the trailer very detailed, and tells you in a video which weapons are shown in the trailer or where the action takes place. You can also see your own feet, sounds lame, but this is actually a very new feature for the Battlefield series.





INFOS: Battlefield 3 will be one of the biggest games this year, the developer team is twice as big as Bad Company 2's team. The PC is the lead platform which means the first priority is developing the game for PC, but EA and Dice have set the release date to 'Fall 2011', an exact date isn't announced yet. In BF3 you play as an U.S. Marine and fight at locations like Paris, Teheran, and even New York where you can destroy buildings, thanks to Dice's physics in their new version of the 'Frostbite Engine 2.0'. This engine was originally used for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, too, so we can expect beside destruction: very good animation, which are captured with the ANT technology which was used for the newest EA SPORTS games. Beautiful lighting, scale and impressive audio can be expected as well.


MULTIPLAYER: Of course, one of the main features in Battlefield 3 will be the multi-player with some big differeces to Bad Company 2 like jets which weren't usable there and up to 64 players fighting each other on PC while console gamers only team up with 24 people, 12 on each side. Also the player has the ability to prone, espacially for sniper a very useful tactic, and a big variety of land, air and sea vehicles will be included in BF3. The variety of weapons is for sure, but you have to earn them with different achievements, Dice said to this feature that "there will be more unlocks than in Bad Company 2", where you could already unlock a lot of weapons for each of the four classes. Another two features which are already known are a theater mode, with no further information, unfortunately, and a co-op mode. There will be no mod tools at release because the engine would be too complex.


PRE-ORDER BONUS: EA has announced a special offer for all pre-orders. Shortly after release a DLC (downloadable content) will be available called Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand. If you pre-order Battlefield 3 you get this DLC for free. It includes four maps of Battlefield 2, but with the new Frostbite 2.0 engine means old maps with new destruction. So you can visit the old battlefields of Wake Island, Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula with new graphics and ohysics. Also included in the pack are Battlefield 2 weapons and vehicles, as well as new achievements and unlocks.
Again, Release of Battlefield 3 is Fall, 2011 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

Portal 2's new feature called 'Repulsion Gel' is very suitable for Portal 2 because you can do high jumps and even get this gel into portals to put it anywhere you want.

 If you can't reach a platform, Repulsion Gel is the key word. The release date is April 20, 2011, on PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 and even Cross-Gaming between PS3 and PC is possible. Unfortunately without Playstation Move support, but on the PS3 Portal 2 will be supported by Steamworks.

Red Faction: Armageddon will launch in the US on May 31 in Europe on 3rd June.

The game continues Red Faction: Guerrilla, you play destruction expert Darius Mason, but the two games differ a lot. Linear, underground environments which can be explored, and the main enemy is no longer the EDF! You fight an alien force accidentally unleashed by Mason.

On Mars the people live in underground mines because huge super-tornados or lightning storms turn the surface to chaos. Darius is tricked, so he reopens a mysterious shaft in an old temple deep underground and releases the alien force. Only Darius himself and the Red Faction can save the planet and mankind, you have to fight across the planet and deep deep in Mars' heart as well.

Physics are a huge feature in Armageddon, it's built on the Geo-Mod 2.0 destruction engine, which allows you to destroy huge structures in a really realistic way, or you build them up again. Your choice.

Release is May 31, 2011 on PC, PS3 and Xbox360.

Fallout New Vegas: Dead Money (Addon) is out now for PC and PS3.

You can download it via Steam for PC and via Playstation Network for PS3. This DLC was already released  December 21, 2010 for Xbox 360 exclusively. The price was about cost 800 MS point, or 9,99€ for PC and PS3. Developer Bethesda has also announced that they want to release 3 new addons for Fallout New Vegas in the first half of the year. Of course for XBox 360, PS3 and PC.
You try to get the Sierra Madre Casino's treasure with three other guys in the wasteland, that's what the story is about and the feature also sounds nice: new enemies, new areas and difficult decision to make.

Bethesda Softworks has released a new trailer of their shooter RAGE.

This shooter, developed by id Software, includes first person shooter action, awesome vehicle fights and a huge world waiting for you to explore. The graphics are pretty good as well, thanks to the 'id Tech 5' technology. The story is the following: In near future a huge meteorite has crashed the earth and now everywhere you look is only wasteland. The survivors either want to rebuild the world or rob everyone left, so you can explore the world and fight your way through thousands of mutants.
Release of RAGE is September 13, 2011 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

Ubisoft has announced a new DLC for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood in March.

'The Da Vinci Disappearance', the new downlodable content for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will cost this time, unfortunately. On Xbox Live, it'll cost 800 Microsoft Points, but there is no Playstation Network price known yet - it's not yet decided. But I think it will be around 10$. But it may be worth it because the DLC includes single-player and multi-player content.

The famous Leonardo Da Vinci himself is kidnapped by the Hermeticists, an underground cult and you have to safe him. While you're at it, you will discover two new locations and two new gameplay features were added to the game. Not the interesting part, the multiplayer: One new map, four new characters and two new game modes. Dama Rossa, the Knight, the Marquis and the Pariah are the new characters, and the new mode was explained as well. In Escort mode one member of your team is the VIP and you have to protect him, and simultaneously kill the enemy VIP. Classic deathmatch is given in Assassinate mode, six to eight players go against each other in one 10 minute round. Release of the DLC is in the beginning of March and the PC version will hit the market March 18, 2011.

Valve has announced a new DLC for Left 4 Dead 2.

After the DLCs 'The Passing' and 'The Sacrifice' for Left 4 Dead 2 Valve has now announced a new DLC with no name yet. This DLC will be available for Xbox 360, PC and Mac and includes the 3 missing campaigns from Left for Dead 1. 'No Mercy' the first L4D campaign was already added and 'Blood Harvest', 'Death Toll' and 'Dead Air' will follow.

'Cold Stream' will be the very new campaign which was created by community modder Matthew Lourdelet aka 2 Evil Eyes, so it will contain no new audio or story. A beta version will be avaible for testing and if these maps satisfy Valve and the community, it will be released with the 3 campaigns from L4D. You can give you feedback, the testing will start 'the next few weeks'.

Release date is unknown, but definetely after the Portal 2 release.

This new trailer shows some gameplay where you drive a verhicle killing your enemies.

Killzone 3 will be released February 22, 2011 exclusively for Sony PlayStation 3. Sony will sell in the USA, once Killzone 3 will be released, a new Hardware Bundle. The 'PS3-Killzone 3 Pack' includes a black PS3 Slim with 160 GB hard drive, a DualShock 3 Controller and a standard version of the game Killzone 3. This Bundle will be available Febrary 22.

Battlefield 3 release is fall 2011, for Xbox 360, PS 3, and PC: first details of BF3

Last night a so-called official EA twitter account announced that the beta for Battlefield 3 will start in October 2011 and everyone went crazy. This is a fake news! This twitter account isn't official and was NEITHER created by publisher Electronic Arts nor by developer DICE. Dice told us via twitter 'if someone dates BF3 beta, we do' and such a huge announcement wouldn't be set on a saturday night. If you have bought the Medal of Honor Limited Edition or the Medal of Honor Tier 1 Edition, you can join the beta, once it's available. A key was included in the games.

About one month before the official release the full Crysis 2 including the Multiplayer was leaked in the internet. The version should be almost finished which means that you can play complete singleplayer and multiplayer but a few bugs can be found maybe.


Even worse:
The leaked version includes the DRM Master Files (the Master Key) which should check the Online Authentication, so that can be avoided by illegal players now. And as well the CryEngine 3 Editor is included. The finished game should be released March 24, 2011. Here's a statement from Crytek to the leaked game:

Dungeon Siege III is a RPG and will be released on May 24, 2011 in North America for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PCs. The game is set to ship in Europe on May 27, 2011. Ea has released a new trailer for their Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed, and features the BMW Z4 GT3.

Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed will be released March 24, 2011 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 und PC. Like every game nowadays there will be a Limited Edition including exclusive cars: Nissan Silvia spec.R Aero (S15), Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV, Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 and also 40 exclusive events in the game. All in all you can drive over 120 cars.

Gameinformer has published these first details of the game which are very interesting if we compare them to Bad Company 2 where we don't have jets and can't prone either. In BF3 you play US Marines in the US, Europe and the Middle-East around some streets, metropolitan downtowns, and open, vehicle-friendly landscapes where you can fight your war.

Now a first teaser trailer was released by EA on the Battlefield 3 homepage but it was leaked this morning on Youtube. Battlefield 3 is the 12th Battlefield game, not including expansions and will be released Fall 2011.

Donkey Kong Country Returns is about Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. If you play single player, you play either DK alone or DK with Diddy on his back. Two players are featured as well, one plays Donkey, the other Diddy Kong through the levels. There are over 70 levels and the game is challenging as hell! I thought it was a child's game (PEGI 0) but I had several problems and only succeded in each level after a few tries.

In the level there are puzzle pieces and the letters K, O, N and G hidden and if you manage to get the whole puzzle or the KONG you get pictures, soundtracks or other features achieved.

The story of the game: Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong have a huge amount of bananas but evil forces from deep of a vulcano managed to steal them. And you have to get them back!

Derpbike is a simple flash game where a genetic algorithm is used to build a car.

Every generation has 20 cars and the genes of the best of them are used for the next generation, so the evolution goes on and on. The cars have to manage a route with different ups and downs, getting constantly harder. The first few generations are almost every time full of fail, they can't manage it to get very far. But after 10 or 20 generations is it easy for the high evolved cars to manage the first 100 meters of the route. It's so addictive, although you can't do much. You can only set the mutation level in each generation. The cars' colors show the crossover and mutation for each member of the population and the number in brackets show the goal for this generation, and if a car reaches this goal, its genes can be very useful for the next generation.

Version 1.2 is the newest, but i prefer the old one. In 1.2 you can set different options like the number of wheels for a car. The old version has always 2 wheels for a car.
