The leaked version includes the DRM Master Files (the Master Key) which should check the Online Authentication, so that can be avoided by illegal players now. And as well the CryEngine 3 Editor is included. The finished game should be released March 24, 2011. Here's a statement from Crytek to the leaked game:

Wow it sucks for Crytek and EA but I'm sure their going to add a lot of things to the game, so a lot of people will buy it :D

yea because the pc packaged goods market is a fuckin scam. they retain the right to rip people off by selling them COPIES of the game, but its not ok for same consumer to give away COPIES of the game that they were SOLD.. Sounds like Hippocratic ways to me.

Well, that can't be good.
While this could potentially hurt sales of Cysis 2, I don't see it potentially ruining the game's sale numbers. People who would torrent it now are the same people who would torrent it the day of it's release. The fact that the multiplayer can be made assessable is the one thing that worries me, as multiplayer is usually the carrot on the stick that convinces people to buy.
wow...i mean its pretty upsetting that this happened to the people who worked so hard on it, but honestly the game would have ended up on torrent sites eventually anyway
Well i gues the people who would have pirated it won't buy it but people who will enjoy the game is going to support the company.

I tried the game. Semeed quite buggy. However, it gave me quite a good insight. I'll buy the full thing upon release.
