Donkey Kong Country Returns is about Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. If you play single player, you play either DK alone or DK with Diddy on his back. Two players are featured as well, one plays Donkey, the other Diddy Kong through the levels. There are over 70 levels and the game is challenging as hell! I thought it was a child's game (PEGI 0) but I had several problems and only succeded in each level after a few tries.
In the level there are puzzle pieces and the letters K, O, N and G hidden and if you manage to get the whole puzzle or the KONG you get pictures, soundtracks or other features achieved.
The story of the game: Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong have a huge amount of bananas but evil forces from deep of a vulcano managed to steal them. And you have to get them back!

It looks good, but I got the Wii the day it was released and gave it more than enough chances to impress me. It didn't though so gave it to my little sister around a year back.
That's a perfect review, if it's that good then I'll see if I can access a Wii
i've played this at my friends house.. as fun as it is there are some parts that make you want to put the controller through the tv! great game overall though.
The nostalgia is kicking in. I used to play DKC for the snes and i loved it
hmm I'm surprised. i kinda wish DK would just go away along with sonic. Had great games in the past, but now it's just grasping at air.

Yeah it looks pretty nice. I'm not quite sure about replay value, but if it is anything like the original Donkey Kong, it should be fun.
