Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was released on November 12, 2012 for all consoles and PC, and everyone might have played it so far. But here's something you've not seen. Something new. Fans of the game made a live-action fan movie on youtube called "Black Ops 2 Zombies: Revolution", featuring guns, blood, a huge load of action and - of course - zombies. But not just zombies, they're nazi zombies! Credits for this film go to Jason Rosete Film, check out his youtube channel for more.

By the way, three days ago on January 29, a new DLC was released for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. This downloadable content - called "Revolution" - features four new multiplayer maps, a brand new weapon, and the new zombie game mode including one map. So the Black Ops 2 fan movie featuring zombies is no coincidence, as you can see. Below you can see the first part of the movie.

The 3rd map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops was leaked, but it's only a rumor so far. This image shows the content of the new map pack for Black Ops, included are 5 new maps :

• Hangar 18
• Drive-In
• Silo
• Hazard
• New Zombie level

Although this is only a rumor, it could be possible. The second map pack, The Escalation pack, was also leaked (which you can see here) about a week before its official announcement by retailer GAME via a promotional advertisement. The new image above comes most likely from a GameStop due to the text "Downloadable Content is better at GameStop" on the ad.

The Escalation map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops will be released May 11, 2011 on Xbox Live Market.

The Excalation DLC was announced for Call of Duty: Black Ops, for May 3, 2011.

The map pack is called Escalation and was announced today by Treyarch and EA. On Xbox LIVE you'll be able to download this brand new DLC on May 3, 2011. Exclusive for Xbox, so PC and Playstation 3 versions of "Excalation" are expected to hit the market four weeks later.

The first DLC called "First Strike" was downloaded over 1.4 million times within 24 hours, so Treyarch hopes for new success with their four new multiplayer maps. Beginning May 6, you'll get double the XP as a celebration of the release of the second DLC for Black Ops.

Finally the PC has got their release, too. The DLC 'First Strike' includes five new maps with unique gameplay and new opportunities, for example for sniper. Four of them are normal multiplayer maps, and one is a Zombie map called Ascension. The other maps are: Berlin Wall, Discovery, Stadium, and, inspired by the singleplayer level, Kowloon.

On top of that a new patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops was released today.

Next tuesday, February 1, 2011, Call of Duty: Black Ops will get an Xbox 360 exclusive DLC called 'First Strike' and now the achievements are known.
There will be 150 Gamerscore points to be earn:

Call of Duty: Black Ops is the most pirated game in 2010. According to torrentfreak.com. Exactely 4,270,000 times since November 2010 for PC only. Incredibile! Including the consoles, there is a total of 5.2 million pirated Black Ops. Bad news for producer, publisher, and the whole game industry.

The first DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops is expected to hit Xbox Live on February 18, 2011, for 1200 Microsoft Points, which are roughly 13€ or 15$. The release for PC and PS3 is shortly after.
The DLC 'First Strike' include five new maps with their unique gameplay and new opportunities, for example for sniper. Four of them are normal multiplayer maps, and one is a Zombie map 'to be declassified later.', said Treyarch.

Treyarch works on the forth patch  for Call of Duty: Black Ops:

• • Resolved several issues with parties getting disbanded unexpectedly.

• • Updated handling for UPnP-enabled routers to improve matchmaking conditions where users had strict or moderate NAT types. Also added in-game communications so that all players are aware of their NAT type in the Player Match party lobby.
• • Addressed issue that prevented the “Load MP by Default” option from saving when other specific option combinations were set.
• • Prevention of exploit that allowed players to keep custom classes and killstreaks after prestige.
• • Addressed an issue where Flak Jacket Pro would not always protect against ground fires left by Napalm Strikes.
• • Prevention of users losing their killstreak reward when switching classes at the start of a new round in round-based game modes.
• • Addressed an issue where the incorrect perks would appear when spectating another player under certain circumstances.
• • Added round start explosive delay to China Lake grenade launcher to give it the same round start limitations as other explosives.
• • Contracts will now reset when the player Prestiges.
• • Prevention of Valkyrie rocket exploding upon release under rare conditions.
• • Prevention of Gunship failing to give player full control under rare conditions.
• • Prevention of an issue where a player will get teleported outside the map boundaries under very specific circumstances.

• • Limit the ability to re-roll supply drops using Hardline Pro to Care Packages only, no other killstreak drops.

• • Additional sound mix tuning for Ninja Pro users – increased ranges and volume of enemy footsteps, and removed player footstep sounds on concrete material types.

'Defendthehouse' made a Mythbusters-like video from Call of Duty: Black Ops including crashing Helicopters, RPG, C4, and more explosions.

David Vonderhaar (Game Design Director) and Cesar Stastny (PC Lead Developer) told via tweet news for the hotfixes of Call of Duty: Black Ops (PC, PS3 and Xbox360). It seems that they gonna add two gametypes for multiplayer:

"Hardcore HQ [Headquarters] and CTF [Capture the Flag] will be first to be added in next hotfix"
