Markus Persson, also known as "Notch", the creator of Minecraft, revealed the first details of the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft.
At E3 this year Microsoft announced an Xbox 360 version of Minecraft. Although it will base on the PC version, this Minecraft will be a whole new game to play on the Xbox 360. Also Kinect will be used to simulate the chopping down a tree for example. By the way, an iOS and Android version is in developement but PS3 and Wii U is not confirmed.

I don't see how anyone would want to pay Minecraft with Kinect. You'd wear yourself out in minutes with all the chopping and mining that goes on in that game.
I agree with @The Dawg. Minecraft is such a repetitive game that I feel Kinect would not be a beneficial supplement to gameplay.
Glad they're at least finally putting out some details about this.
nice that would be pretty cool
Braden: I don't think it's repetitive, but the movement the guy does to chop down trees, dig stone etc is pretty repetitive indeed.
I think it's obvious though, that if they're gonna incorporate this game into Kinect, they'll have to change the mechanics behind this stuff.. maybe the faster you swing, the more "damage" you do to the tree or something like that.
