Electronic Arts has revealed the number of sales of Battlefield 3 which reached the eight million mark. As a comparison, Modern Warfare 3 sold 6.5 million units on its first day.
This information was given by Eric Brown, the Chief Financial Officer of Electronic Arts, during the Baird Technology Conference in San Francisco yesterday.
Twelve million units were sold to the retailers but 'only' eight million were sold so far. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was sold 6.5 million times the first 24 hours only in UK and US so the real numbers are way higher due to sales in the rest of Europe and Asia.
The release of Battlefield 3 was EA's most successful release ever so they can be very happy about this number of sales although they've lost to Modern Warfare. I personally have seen that coming.

The famous Minecraft was modified for Windows Phone 7. It's not the original game because it was develpoed by Candy Rufus Games but the gameplay is the same.
This app for Windows Phone 7 is called Survivalcraft and, as said before, it was developed by Kaalus from Candy Rufus Games. Survivalcraft is based on Minecraft regarding its graphics and gameplay though Survivalcraft is only in alpha status.
For everyone undecided, there is a test version of Survivalcraft in the marketplace so people can play the full game for a limited period only. Thereafter, if you're interested in the game, the price was set to 1,99 Euro. As a comparison, Minecraft for PC costs 19,95 Euro.
My Review of Survivalcraft:
I've downloaded the game for my Windows Phone and played couple of hours. First thing so say is that Survivalcraft can compete with Minecraft if you consider it as alpha version of a newly developed game.
The main gameplay is the same, you can mine blocks like stone, soil, or wood to build a shelter for the night for example. Crafting is also included in the game although not every recipe of the full released Minecraft was taken to Survivalcraft - unfortunately. The maps are beautiful as in the original and you even get the same addiction as playing the original Minecraft because you can build whatever you want. This principle made Minecraft famous and is for Survivalcraft a guarantee of success, too.
However, the game is still in alhpa version as said before but updates are coming. Some new tools and blocks are added and other features like a screenshot function is a nice addition for the game.
All in all, I'd say that Survivalcraft has potential. The developer managed to get me addicted to the game because I'm a huge Minecraft fan as well and there is no competition for a Windows Phone 7.
For everyone with an iPhone: The original Minecraft app costs around 6 Euro and can be downloaded in the AppStore.

In The Elder Scrolls 5 - Skyrim are the continents Morrowind and Cyrodiil included, beside the main continent Skyrim. This is a tutorial how to get to these secret places.
Using this guide, you'll be able to visit the lands of The Elder Scrolls 3 and 4, meaning Morrowind and Oblivion, but with Skyrim! Unfortunately, only for PC players. Nobody knows why the continents were added to the game, however, follow the steps below to get there:
1. Open My Documents and My Games. Thereafter, open the Skyrim folder and look for a file called Skyrim.ini. Open it using the Editor.
2. Search in this document for [General] and add the following below this:

3. Afterwards, open the game as usual. You have to travel to the far north-east end of Skyrim. Follow the valley eastbound until you reach this gate:

Global Agenda - Free Agent is a third-person shooter developed by Hi-Rez Studios and is set in the future. I've recently started to play this free-to-play game and I'd like to share my first impressions with you.
What the game is about:
As mentioned above, Global Agenda is a third-person shooter which is set in 2155. The world is at war because there is a huge fraction who wants to control the world. Of course, you're a good soldier and member of one of the left independant fractions. With full equipment, you fight your way through the enemies using jetpacks and high-tech weapons.
The story of the game is not world first but well done so you have the feeling to be a true soldier in this war.
Gameplay and Features:
This game is class-based, which means that you can create and customize your own elite soldier. I'm a fan of all this customization features, I have to admit. A normal shooter where everyone looks the same is too boring for me so a new skin or hat or boots or whatever is always a motivation to play the game even more. Global Agenda doesn't have to hide behind games like TF2.

The Gamesocm 2012 will be bigger than ever with more than 167,000 square yard. That's 16% more than last year, so overcrowding shall be prevented.
