Namco Bandai Games announced the brand new Naruto Powerful Shippuden for the Nintendo 3DS. Even the release date were revealed for this beat'em-up game - it's March 8, 2013. Inti Creates in cooperation with CyberConnect2 developed the game which will feature two game modes:
 
1. A storyline. You play either Naruto himself or Rock Lee to master this campaign. All missions and adventures in the game are directly based on the anime series Naruto Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals.

2. Endless beat'em-up. You can just jump into the battle and fight endless waves of enemies via side scroll. This mode is best to try out your new special moves or combo attacks you learned by gaining experience points in the campaign.
Other characters such as Kakashi, Sakura, or Gaara are incuded in the game as well, but you can only call them for help. So playable are only Rock Lee and Naruto - of course
